During this free event families bring their children to receive free haircuts and hairstyles from licensed beauticians, backpacks, school supplies, shoes as well as school uniforms.

 

Families are also connected with community resources to address other needs. Since its inception we have grown from servicing 150 families to more than 1000 families at our 4th annual event in August of 2019. 

As a non-profit our giving is made possible through the assistance and support of businesses, volunteers and private donations from within our community. At our annual Gala we raise funds for upcoming community projects as well as say thank you to all of our donors.

Our Christmas event will provide children throughout our community with toys, shoes, and clothing. We will also be providing families with a holiday dinner and the opportunity to have holiday photos taken by onsite professional photographers.

Bridging the Gap Program 

​

As a part of this event teens and young adults will receive instruction on how to write a professional resume, participate in mock interviews, and be given the opportunity to intern and receive community service hours from participating agencies.

Participants will also receive free professional head shots as well as business attire to wear

during their interviews.
